"Delaware County and Beyond"
ARTIST INTERPRETS LIFE IN DELAWARE COUNTY

An exhibition of photographs by Kathy Agostinelli is currently on display through July 4 at Swarthmore Borough Hall, 121 Park Avenue, Swarthmore. The public is invited to the artist's reception on Friday June 4 from 6 to 8 pm, which is scheduled as part of Swarthmore's First Friday. Lorri Darbes will play the Native American flute at the opening.

The exhibit, titled "Delaware County and Beyond" reflects life in Delaware County as seen through the artist's lens. Agostinelli is also a painter, working primarily in oils and watercolor. She earned an associates degree in graphic design at Delaware County Community College in 1990, and is currently studying at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.

Gallery hours are 8am-9pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-7pm Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday, and 1pm-5pm Sunday.

This exhibit is sponsored by Friends of the Arts, whose mission is to encourage the expression of all forms of art by local artists and to provide a venue for artistic dialogue. Solo and group exhibitions by artists and photographers beyond the immediate community are also encouraged.
